Orchestrations

A New York-based orchestrator whose work includes Symphony, TV shows, CDs, and Musical Theatre. Barton’s orchestrations are played regularly by major orchestras across the U.S. and Canada, including the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, the Boston Pops, the Houston Symphony, the National Symphony in D.C., the Indianapolis Symphony, and the Baltimore Symphony.

Barton has written full-symphony charts for artists such as Megan Hilty, Sandi Patty, Florence Henderson, Anika Noni Rose, Beth Leavel, Ann Hampton Callaway, Michael Cavanaugh, Tony DeSare, and Maureen McGovern. Furthermore, he orchestrated ten full concerts of Broadway Golden Age songs for my Fred Barton Orchestra, accompanying today’s Broadway stars, performed in New York City and nearby venues from 2012-2017.
